God is With You in the Storm
After being release from the hospital, I started my journey of chemotherapy. Every week on Tuesday I would have to get bloodwork to keep a check on my calcium level before I went to have my chemotherapy. Every Wednesday for 12 weeks I would go to the doctor to have my chemo meds injected through an IV to try and kill the cancer cells that I had already grown in my body. As you can imagine this was a scary experience. One that I never imagined myself going through.
Evidence that God is With You
Looking back on this time I have to say that God was definitely with me. Each week going through chemotherapy not once did I have to change the medication because I didn’t work. Not once did I have a bad reaction. Not once did the oncologist or nurse worry about how my body responded to the medication. EVERYTHING was in God’s hands. He was with me. He strengthen me. And he does the same for you.
So many times God tells us not to be afraid because he is with us. I know this can be hard because our circumstances seem to swallow us whole. In these times we have to remember that God is bigger. He conquered the world. He is with us and for us.
