Intro

God’s Plan and Purpose. It’s the best thing when we let our Heavenly Father break through our plans with his purpose. There will be tests. There will be trials but trust God. Trust God’s plan. Trust the purpose he has placed on your life. At the beginning of my story, I didn’t know my any of this. I felt like I wasn’t that important and I prayed for God’s direction. I prayed for him to guide my footsteps to walk in the purpose he had for me. Shortly after that, I found out I had Cancer. Today I share this story with you because in doing this Im living out my purpose. In this I pray you leave encouraged. In this I pray you leave with hope for God’s plan and purpose for your life.

My Story of God’s Plan

This all started with my dismissal from nursing school. It’s amazing how God knows what you need exactly when you need it. It was almost the end of the first semester and I was going through letter after letter trying to defend my case and save my seat in the program. I was undergoing a process in which the director of the program would decide to accept or decline my reason for having so many absences . As you can guess, she didn’t except it. So there I was with a “B” in the class being dismissed from this program and my dreams shattered. The plans I had were suddenly absent. Man, what a failure I felt like. I left stupid, unworthy of even being in this program. I even questioned if this was I should be doing.

Guidance to God’s Purpose

In this moment, I turned to God and asked him to guide my footsteps. I did reapply but little did I know God’s plan was different for my life. I continued working my position at the hospital but I wasn’t feeling like myself. Then I didn’t know it but I was burnout and trying to recover my self esteem from my dismissal. After a few short months, (it’s been about a year ago now) I resigned and started looking for something that would offer more of a work/life balance. By the end of the year, I started working as a school health tech. However, 3 days into this new job I received news that changed my life forever and God started moving my life. During my time of seeking God’s guidance I asked him to show me what my purpose was. I was questioning what my purpose was. I was in a bad place, literally at my lowest. But isn’t it such a great thing when God answers our prayers? A lot of people wouldn’t choose to see being diagnosed with cancer a blessing but I want you guys to know that even in the worst situations we must do our best to count it all joy because God knows how it will end. God’s plan and purpose for you will come to past.
